Provides experts in strategic planning, policy development, facility operation and public education. Gives access to world-class operating facilities for technology verification/demonstration and hands-on training.     University of Alberta (U of A) In the top tier of Canada’s research-intensive universities—strong in environmental engineering and bio-sciences. Provides world-class specialists and researchers. Matches projects with graduate students’ research and career interests. Offers interdisciplinary research cooperation with different faculties.   Alberta Innovates Technology Futures Established expertise in research and development of waste management technology. Provides research specialists and expertise in commercialization. Gives access to established partnerships with industry in technology development.    AMEC Earth & Environmental Global consulting firm with expertise in environmental consulting. Provides worldwide marketing and promotional channels, and up-to-date knowledge of national and international market developments. Adds value by providing services such as operator training, regulatory and environmental advice,  business consultancy and specific technical services.    Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Offers diploma, certificate, and part-time programs in areas related to waste management operations, e.g. environmental technology, water/wastewater.
